zac patton owner

a painter turned biologist turned painter again, zac PATTON began painting professionally in 1992, while a student at St. Ignatius HS.  in 1997 zac earned a BS in biology from John Carroll University & in 1999 he earned his MS in biology at CSU.  while a student, zac continued to work summers as a painter, foreman, operations manager & estimator.  he reluctantly retired from painting upon receiving his masters degree.  zac worked for three years as a researcher for the USDA in Sandusky, OH before returning to his first love, house-painting, in the winter of 2002-03.  zac enjoys painting, spending time with his family, hunting, fishing & spreadsheets.  he lives with his family in Rocky River.  zac's wife of nine years, JULIE, works as an editor for American Greetings.  their son, OWEN, likes trucks, tools & elephants.  he is 3 years old.

tim PATTON became a full-time professional painter in the summer of 1998.  A graduate of St Ignatius HS and, for two years, a student of John Carroll University, tim was introduced to house painting by his older brother ZAC.  from 1998 until the winter of 2002-03, TIM excelled as a painter, foreman, operations manager & estimator, among other things.  tim enjoys painting, spending time with his family & playing golf.  he lives with his family in Fairview Park. his wife of three years, KATHRYN, sometimes wishes she lived at the edge of a great forest in New Hampshire. their daughter JUNE (two) enjoys singing to their son GRAHAM (one).

dan PATTON began painting at the age of 15, working for a summer with his cousin TIM. the following summer, while a student at Lakwewood HS, DAN began working for BOBSON's hardware & later was employed by INGERSOLL hardware.  in both positions he learned to love hardware stores & also how to fix just about anything.  he remains very good at fixing things.  DAN has been a part time student of computer science & mechanical engineering at both TRI-C METRO & CSU over the past three years.  he began working at PATTON PAINTING INC at its inception.  he has excelled in learning & understanding the many facets of interior & exterior painting & has been a foreman for most of his tenure here. DAN lives in Lakewood.  he enjoys motorcycles & bowling.

 

jeremy helton foreman

JEREMY Helton began his painting career in 1994 as a civil engineer at wright-patterson Air force base in dayton, oh.   in 1999 he earned a BFA in Graphic & industrial Design from the Columbus College of Art & Design.  from 1999 to 2003 JEREMY worked as a painter, artist & designer both independently & with others.  his unique background & impressively comprehensive abilities made him the perfect fit for PATTON PAINTING INC and in 2003 he was hired as a painter/artist.  he was quickly promoted to foreman.  JEREMY lives with his wife LISA in Old Brooklyn.  he is currently remodeling every inch of his home.  he does not have time for enjoyment.  but if he did, he would enjoy painting, music & furniture design.

DAVE BARNA began his painting career in the summer of 1991 while studying psychology at the University of Toledo.  Within a few years he began working full time as a painter, foreman, manager & estimator.  after nearly fifteen years of service to the same company, DAVE embarked on journey of painter-discovery that led him to PATTON PAINTING INC.  "finally," DAVE said to himself, "I am home."  DAVE is exceedingly capable, knowledgeable & friendly.  he is a true professional.  DAVE enjoys painting, remodeling his North Olmsted home & painstakingly preparing gourmet meals.

BILL has been a professional painter & faux finisher for the past seven years.  he has worked extensively with contractors, builders, designers & residential customers sharing his own brand of commercial & residential artistry.  BILL is also an accomplished local musician.  his band, THE VACANCIES, has been signed to Joan Jett's Blackheart records.  when he's not painting or performing, BILL can be found creating engaging decorative finishes on the walls of his wife's Lakewood salon, COLOR BY NUMBERS.  BILL lives with his wife in Lakewood.

KAYCE has been a painter for seven years.  he is currently studying to become a firefighter/medic.  a graduate of St Edward HS, KAYCE attended the Ohio State University in Columbus for three years.  he is continuing his education here in Cleveland.  KAYCE is a good painter.  we hope to keep him on staff for some time.  KAYCE lives with his fiancee in Lakewood.  he enjoys football, baseball & diagrams of the human heart.

KEITH has been a painter for six years.  he and his band (the A10's) practice weekly with the hope of making it big.  until then, we hope KEITH sticks around.  we believe his ability to play the guitar may be the secret to his success as a painter.  well trained hands.  KEITH is a graduate of Bay Village HS.  he lives in Lakewood.  he enjoys music, fashion & music.

JOEL has been a painter for six years, though he has been an artist all his life.  JOEL earned a BFA in Painting from Akron University in 2004.  as a student & later as a graduate he worked full & part time at the Akron Museum of Art.  among his many duties, JOEL worked to install & dismantle exhibits at the museum.  he painted many museum walls many times.  JOEL is a very detail-oriented painter & a working artist with a few upcoming gallery showings. JOEL lives in Tremont.  he enjoys fine art, his own art & downhill skiing. 

 

seth andregg the firefighter

SETH has been a full time or part time painter for 14 years.  SETH is also a full time firefighter/medic for the city of Lakewood.  He is a skilled painter & craftsman, though he only paints two or three days a week.  SETH lives with his family in Lakewood.  His wife MARI & their two children SETH JR, & ADDY sometimes wish he would take a vacation.  SETH enjoys his family, his garage, playing golf & driving his new truck. 

 

ron arkutik the baker

RON has worked in residential painting, maintenance  & construction for the past 7 years.  he is a careful & productive painter.  in a past career RON was a legendary baker of delicious donuts & other tasty morning treats.  the 'john henry' of donut-making, RON retired from his baking career just as the craft he loved had been overtaken by donut-making machines.  RON  lives in Lakewood.  he enjoys deep conversation,  working on his nearly-classic car collection & eating man-made donuts.
